In 1986, she released he breakout album Control and became one of the most popular pop starts of the 80s. In 1989, she issued Rhythm Nation 1814 with romantic singles and themes. By 1992 she was already famous around the World. That year she sang in a duet with Luther Vandross.
In 1995 she worked together with her brother Michael to create the single Scream. This team work debuted on the fifth position of the Hot 100. At that time Janet Jackson toured across the United States, Canada and other countries many times. Her All For You album appeared in 2001 and she launched another several tours to support it. By 2003, she returned to studio to start working on her next album.
In the next following years she issued several albums including Discipline (2008) and Unbreakable (2015), which is the latest to date studio work.
Black Diamond 2020 Tour Information
Janet Jackson announced North American dates for her “Black Diamond” world tour this summer. The outing is an all-new production featuring new music from her forthcoming album “Black Diamond,” which is set for release later this year, along with songs from her 12 albums, including a special performance of “Rhythm Nation 1814,” which recently marked its 30th Anniversary.
The tour kicks off June 24th in Miami and is scheduled to run through the end of August; European dates and the rest of the world will be announced in the coming weeks.
