In 2005 they issue a successful A Beautiful Lie album which brings them popularity in the United States and across the World. The band mates placed 12 copies of all-passes for their upcoming tour in their album copies and this step was truly successful.

They invited another member Matt Watcher who played bass guitar. In 2007 Watcher left the band but contributed a lot into the groups next album. It appeared in 2009 and was called This Is War. This album was certified Gold in many countries including the United States. Musicians launched a massive 309 shows tour to support their work. This marathon tour received Guinness World Record for the longest tour, made by a rock band.

When they have finished their exhaustive tour, they have started to work on their next album Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams, which was released in 2012. This one is 30 Seconds to Mars latest work in the studio. This year they are going to launch a tour with Muse.
